This is your chance to play an important role in Council’s decision-making.
Applications are now open for Moreland City Council’s Advisory Committees and Reference Groups.
Members of these groups draw on their experience and expertise to provide advice to Council on a range of issues.
These Advisory Committees and Reference Groups work best when they represent the diversity of the Moreland community. As such, we are looking for a diverse array of community members for these positions. We encourage individuals of all ages, abilities, genders, cultural backgrounds, interests with connections to Moreland to apply.
We are recruiting for 4 Advisory Committees and 5 Reference Groups. They are:
- Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee
- Sustainable Transport Advisory Committee
- Human Rights and Inclusion Advisory Committee
- Moreland Arts Advisory Committee
- Gender Equality
- Age Friendly (Older People)
- Affordable Housing

To apply to be part of an Advisory Committee or Reference Group, complete the application form online, or download a copy and submit via email or post to Locked Bag 10, Moreland VIC 3058. The application form will also be available in Italian, Greek, Turkish, Arabic and Vietnamese in addition to English on the website and by request.
